I have been coming to this chinese from been a teenager. Im now 28. I love the food. And the staff are so genuinely nice. So glad they are still around and hope they will be for years to come

It’s a takeaway so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere. However, I never need to repeat details and on occasion when I have been ill they always offer good wishes and sometimes advice. Ordering by phone is simply and straightforward. Delivery is very fast and the drivers are always polite. Oh, and the food is tasty too and arrives very hot.

My favourite Chinese Takeaway, I have been eating here since I was knee high and they even remember my order, despite me living in a different part of Sheffield when I order. New Jumbo always cook my meals from fresh and are really polite on the phone and in person. Highly recommend them to anyone in S2 - the salt and pepper chicken is consistently lovely!

I used to live across the road on City Rd from NEW JUMBO Chinese Takeaway back in 2004. Fast forward 18 years, I came back to have another Meal For One, one last time! (or may be a Dinner Box)... At least I was going to grab a few Pork Balls for the road!
Number #1 buffet is dead and buried. Jumbo (the one in town) has been renamed. NEW JUMBO still stands tall and proud!
When times got you down, you felt the world was against you or you even needed to line your stomach before a big night out, then New Jumbo always had you covered! They even let you swap the soup on the meal for one. Those were the best of times!
Today, I rekindled some of those cherished memories!

First time we've tried jumbowe normally order from wah sing. order came within 30 mins was red hot nice special fried rice and egg fried rice wasn't too keen on the chips but food was plentiful. Would recommend.

Wonderful food. Wonderful friendly people too. It was a freezing cold day and they got us a few chips and warm drink while we waited. But as I say the food is awesome.

LOVE IT. Ilove the food here.. it tingles every taste bud on my tongue.. I wish I could eat here every second of the day.. If only New Jumbo were next door to me.. My favourite dish is the chips. I love chips. LOOOOOOVE chips! Whenever I have a chip it reminds my of the last time I had a chip and the last time I had a chip it was really nice so every time I eat a chip it's really nice.. My least favourite dish is Wandering Gragon.. the reason for this is because I think it's weird that people eat dragons. ALSO the fact that it is wandering upsets me.... like why would you kill a wandering dragon?! why not an old one?? Anyway.. I think you should eat here as it tastes real good.

Placed a big order for a group of us and every dish was terrible. Bland sauces, bad cuts of meat and wrong dishes delivered. Really, really bad.
