Just wanted to leave you a message about our Christmas Lunch yesterday. We really enjoyed it & the food was beautiful. I've never had Christmas a Lunch out before, we were a little hesitant at first but we need not have been. We were welcomed with a lovely atmosphere, nice Christmas music & beautifully set tables. The service of our food was so good, never had to ask for anything. All there provided for us. Our food was so lovely, hot & tasty with all the Christmas trimmings. The hot meats were beautiful, we had a bottle of prosecco included which was nice & fab desserts to finish. I thought I would miss the home cooked food but I'm wondering if I will ever go to the hassle again!!!! Felt all relaxed & had no pots to do. Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon 🍽
Absolutely amazing night. Had my hen do here Saturday night Thank you so much to jeana and Simon for hosting such an amazing night. Couldn't have wished for a better night and dj glassback as my dj. Heard nothing but great comments from my friends. They all want to come back for a night out. Thanks again amazing. Plus my good friends jeana and Simon xx
I got so happy I had to walk in to the royal oak. It was a damhot day yes I said hot I want to the landlord and said. Make it I ice cold pint. Of what Guinness. I want out side and drank it the sun was beaming down on me.i drank the ice cold pint off Guinness. And went to the shop for some milk. What a great time I had in the royal oak. It was only a pint. But you know what I will never forget that pint till my dieing day. God bless you Simon. I Love what you did for me.... Thank you. X
The Royal Oak is a super pub. A friendly atmosphere is guaranteed. Good beers on tap at reasonable prices. Quiz night on Thursday is great fun.
A great place for a drink & snacks, no food except for Sundays, will be back on a Sunday with the dog fresh outta the woods. Brilliant friendly woman being the bar, a local too.
Nice, friendly local. Staff welcoming and prices are pretty decent. There is a little outdoor seating area, which is nice when the weather's good!
Good Guest beers, though limited selection. Good quiz wednesday evenings with free food. Pool table, friendly locals. Map location is slightly wrong, it's on the opposite side of road, a bit nearer sheffield.
Gina and Simon offer a fantastic service. Friendly, professional and a barrel of laughs.
And don't get me started on the Sunday roasts...
10/10, would recommend.

was on a double deck coach full of Leicester city supporters 84 in total staff was fantastic with us brilliant pub full of character very cheap prices on drinks and food hope we go there again on the PM tours
Serving good beer, excellent food mixed with friendly staff with a sense of humour and good customer service skills makes this the best public house to be in within Deepcar! Sheffield.
