Called in for lunch as we were early to visit family locally. What a find, the food was excellent. I had the giant Yorkshire wraps and wow. I have a huge appetite and the figure to match but it well and truly beat me and for less than£10 (we’re from down south so this was so cheap).
Staff were lovely too. All in all a great find. We will be back on our next visit

Excellent pub lovely bar staff. Always a young lady ready to serve at the bar no waiting. Great experience after a home game at bramall lane. Last Saturday was exceptional after the final league match great atmosphere both my wife and I loved it.....keep up the good work

Staff were lovely, went in a group of 20 and filled about half of the building. So not very big inside but great atmosphere. Ideal place if you're not into anything fancy, up market. Just a standard pub.

The stella was absolutely spot on. Plastic glasses after the game which is understandable but when we had glass it was a top notch pint. I'm not usually one to drink stella either!

Great pub on a historic Roman road and had superb views on both sides of the ridge. We have been 2-3 times over the years and it's usually very busy. So, my advice is get there early as it gets very full. There is a new extension, but it doesn't have the same character of the original old building. Great food and good beer in a stunning location.

OMG. I want to make this my local when I leave Canada. Great crowd. Great fish n chips next door and superb Jamaican curry just down London road. My grandfather was born in 1903 just 2 streets away.
