A group of over 20 of us had my 80s birthday party here last night , one of many parties we have here and we had a top night . The dj played all 80s music for us and any other requests we had whilst also playing requests for regular customers. We could not fault him, also buffet perfect and good value and bar staff couldnt have done enough . Thank you to landlady & staff.

Been going regular for food for about 3 months now, currently at the time of writing never had a bad meal. Young female chef is brill, good portions, well cooked & tasty food, excellent value & obliging staff. Lasagne one of the nicest I've had. Highly recommend

Had a schicken kebab on naan with salad &mint sauce,lovely.
Nice pub and nicely decorated for Christmas.
Menu looked decent and good value although we didn't eat.
Only downside was no cask ales at all even though it is advertised extensively outside and apparently they haven't had any for a couple of months.
Selling Old peculiar at 3.60 a pint kept well so cannot be doing much wrong
Nipped in for first time in at least 26 years. Really pleasant pub! The lady who served me was great: chatty, friendly and warm.
As a drinker of 34 years, I cannot stress how nice it is when staff are like this!

Good beer, food looks good and cheap and the pub felt warm and clean.
