Just had Sunday lunch, we all had different a pork a turkey and a lamb. The pork came with amazing piece of crackling, all our meals came with potatoes mashed and roast, a lovely well cooked selection of vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding which if I'm honest was a little dry and overcooked but at least it was homemade. The gravy was very tasty, we all enjoyed our meals and will return to The Bridge Inn again, staff are lovely and the surroundings are nice too, all in all a great lunch out thank you.
Came here for a lunch with my husband and sister in law. They do a great steak and ale pie here, which we all had. Didn’t disappoint. Several options on the menu but you cannot go wrong with the pies. The service was great too, with a very friendly server behind the counter and kind kitchen staff. I removed one star because during our meal, there were multiple flies flying around and these were obviously a nuisance. Plenty of parking.
Lovely pub. Attended following a family funeral. Staff were attentive with good service and great food and drinks. We were in the 'conservatory' at the back and felt it was a shame we had no access to what appears to be a lovely garden.
Absolutely non existent phone signal unless you walk up to the main road
Lovely location. Good service. Friendly locals. I don't like skin on chips so that was a downer for me but everything else was really good. Next time I'll order the fries and it will be perfect.
Just been here, I had salmon & husband had home made steak pie. Absolutely 💯 delicious. Salmon perfect.
Really really lovely pub! Went a few times over the weekend. Archie the landlord is really nice too. He came over to make sure we were enjoying ourselves
Only called in for a pint, first time visit, very polite bar staff and a lovely cosy feel as soon as you walk in, as I would say, " a proper country pub feel " definitely be calling in again 🙂👍.
Love it here. It's cosy, friendly and down a country lane on a quiet corner. The food is tasty and the staff obliging. Been back twice. 😊
Quiet County pub, close to lush walks and fishing pond. Close then you'd think to large outer city district. Part of s lovely little village.
The Bridge in is a lovely pub in a lovely setting. The owners and staff are really helpfull and nice. The food was good, we had home made veggie curry with the best home made naan I've ever tasted.
