Brilliant pub, brilliant landlady, food is excellent and I can't say enough good things about this pub. It used to be where some of CB'ers (some of you won't know what I mean about CB'ers lol!!) congregated on a Friday night many many moons ago and if you are looking for a party room this is the place to book :)
Very friendly pub lovely bar staff great dinners every Sunday, Yorkshire puds choice of meats beef lamb or chicken. There's also a Karaoke every Saturday and on Sunday night a music quiz + Karaoke.There is a large function room for hire for private party's etc. Disco every 2nd Thursday In every month
Excellent pool table here, very well looked after, well lit and with plenty of space to play your shots. Haven't tried the 3/4 snooker table yet but it too looks well kept.
Great pub. Lots of old character, the staff were really friendly, as were the locals. Plenty of beer choice. Added to that there is plenty to do with pool, snooker and darts. Nothing to complain about at all.

One of the best pub environments ive ever been in. The people are friendly, the pub is spacious, got a great outside area. The staff and manager where so friendly i cant wait to go back again! They have a great selection of rums too! My christmas list sorted

Not a bad place, ready for a refurbishment - has the potential to match other pubs in the area with some investment. Friendly staff, take card payments as well 👍

Kevin and Dianne are wonderful hosts. Great measures in place to follow covid guidelines and the rest of the staff were really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
Great to get out to the pub and see people we know again.OMG not drinking outside till it warms up it's just too flipping cold.
