This is my local and has only just reopened so currently under new management, custom steadily starting to grow, the new landlord has a great personality and very welcoming one of the friendliest and responsible people I have met in a long time. Spacious and clean environment, hopefully he will have the staff to open his kitchen again soon and then top marks from.

Wish I'd taken photos (without family in them so I could post). I was expecting an average pub meal, however, after they catered for our group of 8, without a booking, I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was way better than a more expensive eatery I'd visited only a week before. Every meal was fantastic and our group left feeling extremely satisfied. I had to pass my compliments to the kitchen it was that good. I highly recommend the desperado burger.

Just had the best Sunday Lunch, couldn't eat it all with 4 veg, roast & mash stuffing & Yorkshire pudding with gravy. Didn't have to wait long either. £11.99.
