Good music, bit loud tho.... Couldn't have a conversation with friends so we left and went to another lively bar top of fargate where still great atmosphere, busier and music but we could actually speak to each other.... Probably why Yates wasn't busy no one could hear each other.... We loved the music but we couldn't actually speak to each other which defeats the point of going out.

We were served by an Australian man named Nick, he was absolutely amazing. He catered to our needs regarding drink pretences and our song preferences. He ensured we were comfortable regarding music preferences and advised us of the best places to go around Sheffield. He was extremely enthusiastic and kind, whilst maintaining professionalism. Nick is an outstanding bartender and he ensured we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Yates in Sheffield. We will attend again, particularly just to receive the service from him.

Place to be on a Saturday night! Whether your someone who likes to have a dance or want somewhere to sit down with some atmosphere. Amazing friendly staff always feeling welcome. Best DJ in town playing songs for everyone. Been going there regularly and will carry on. If you’re looking for somewhere to have a dance before you hit the nightclubs in the early hours or even if your a someone who goes home early but would love a boogie before this is the place to go. Opened till 1am. Never fails this place 10/10 each week.

Yates Sheffield truly outdid itself this weekend with the incredible DJ Luke Westnidge taking center stage. From the moment he hit the decks, the energy was electric. His eclectic mix of tracks had everyone on their feet, seamlessly blending genres in a way that felt both innovative and nostalgic. What set DJ Luke Westnidge apart was his ability to connect with the crowd. It wasn't just about the music; it was the experience he created. His transitions were flawless, building anticipation and delivering drop after drop that had the crowd roaring. It was clear he wasn't just playing tracks; he was telling a story, taking us on a journey through sound that was both exhilarating and emotive. The venue itself, with its welcoming staff and well-maintained facilities, complemented the night perfectly. The sound system was top-notch, ensuring every beat was felt as much as heard, and the lighting added to the immersive experience DJ Luke crafted.
