Went in to 851 for the first time. My 3.5 and 2 year old absolutely adored it! They had so much fun playing in the house, driving the cars, pushing shopping trucks, playing with areoplanes to name but a few things they did. The menu was healthy and portion sizes appropriate. The food was really tasty and came quickly which is a massive plus for me as my kids HATE to wait for their lunch.
The staff were so kind I explained that I’d just set up a small business and they allowed me to put a poster up and said they would help spread the word. I was so moved by this generosity I could have cried.
A lovely little cafe, ran by lovely people. What more can you ask for?
Love this place!! Have been visiting for a few years now with both my boys. Always greeted with a warm welcome. Cakes and coffee are amazing too! So nice to go somewhere where you children are free to play whilst you sit and enjoy a coffee, rather than being forced to sit still. Can't recommend enough!!
It's also the only place that would walk you and your children to your car in the torrential rain, holding an umbrella so you don't get drenched!! THANK YOU!!!
We always pop in here for a quick play, coffee and bite to eat. Toys on one side of the cafe for the kids (0-4 years probably best suited to the toys) the area is fully visible so you can sit from your table and make sure your littlest ones are all good. One of the few places you can actually drink your drink hot when you have kids because they have something to do in a cafe environment. Staff are amazingly accomodating and you don't have to feel anxious about your child going into meltdown or anything like that. They understand and really do put their customers and their little ones needs first. My kids have always enjoyed coming, there is a good range of toasties, jackets, cakes and of course coffee, I even like to bring my eldest here who is too old for the toys but as it's nice and relaxed we can actually chat while the smallest plays.
Nice little cafe. The food is nice (sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes etc), and there's plenty of highchairs. Good value too! The play area is small but there's plenty of toys. I've taken my little one from when she started cruising onwards and she's enjoyed it. There's paid parking in the co operative car park, or free parking on nearby roads.
Perfect for kids who are allowed to run about whilst mum or dad can relax with a coffee and sandwich. Plenty of toys to play with, very safe and fantastic owners.
Really great place. Had a lovely coffee and a great catch up with a friend while her son played happily with all the toys.

Great food, fantastic for the little ones, cosy, perfect place to meet friends and let the tiny ones play while grown ups get drinks and food - 4 stars cos no WiFi!
Great with little kids and a nice way to get 5 minutes peace while they play. You can actually enjoy a hot drink!
Staff are very nice and it's great for kids! Possibly a little bit pricey but suppose you get what you pay for.
This is a great place for kids to play and have fun :) it's great having a place to go and have a cup of coffee while the kids can play
A lovely little cafe. The cakes are divine & go down well with a lovely smooth Latte
Great for a catch up with friends and young ones, shame the parking is restricted.
