Excellent Supermarket but worst cafe in the world. I recommend the lovely clean environment of the shopping and would recommend you avoid the cafe by a long way.
I was overwhelmed by the amazing customer service today. I've hurt my ankle and was struggling with walking the staff couldn't have done enough for me and went above and beyond. Thanks again, wish I new the lady's name to thank personally.
Being in the area decided to pop into sainsbury's Wadsley Bridge store have to say I am very impressed it's a lovely laid out store 👌 fantastic clothes section twenty five percent off clothing today some fab bargains to be had lots of nice gifts to buy also Christmas 🎄 is getting nearer good fruit salad 🍅 🥗 and veg produce nice hot food counter too good dairy and meet and fish to be had great bakery hate to say I think it's got the edge on my local sainsbury's staff super friendly too definitely will come again near Christmas 🎄 I think it's on first floor but have choice of lift and escalater yes really good branch of sainsbury's
Nice big store with lots to buy plenty of stock and variety, even though the car park was quite full , due to the size of the store there was plenty of room to social distance , there is a good range of products and services , the prices are comparable to the other big supermarkets but in some cases they have a greater choice. Will definitely be going back regularly
Easy to shop there and plenty items. One disappointing thing, a 350gm Bisto Chicken Granules rang in at £4.50 which is the proper price for 450gm.
Overall good offers and quality food
Easy access. This store has a huge car park with disabled bays next to the entrance. A large moving walk way takes you from the car park to the store. The cafe serves tasty food at reasonable prices. I had a toasted teacake and my husband had a cream tea. The toilets are clean. There is a up to 50% off toy sale on at the moment. I bought twin baby dolls and Lego at half price total for both £33.33. We will call again.
Good for parking.
Has TU clothing and a good selection of homeware.
Love the world food section and even has a lindt chocolate display stand.
Scan and Shop is easy to use and much quicker to checkout, for those in a rush.

Large Sainsburys always has what I need. Great for parking as most of the parking is covered which is great on a rainy day. Also there are LEV/ Electric vehicle-only parking spaces available for those with a green thumb.
I went midweek in the afternoon, and the first thing that struck me was: NO BACKGROUND MUSIC!
Oh, it was *wonderful*!
I'm going deaf in one ear and have awful tinnitus, so being able to wander round without that *awful* cacophony of noise was bliss.
The atmosphere within the shop was different, too. People seemed more relaxed; I even saw several people SMILING.
I don't know if the 'music' was intentionally off, but shopping with no wailing and screeching in the background was heavenly and long may it continue!
Easy to park, staff very friendly.
Often staff run off feet trying to look after self checkouts, authorising certain purchases etc.
Fruit and veg area needs managing better, either very empty or over stocked so you find loads of yellow brocoli etc
Large roomy clean shop. Great selection of food, wine and spirits. Some decent clothes at really reasonable prices. Friendly check-out staff.
Nice and quiet about 6-7pm and plenty of stock still out plus the fact that there is a Argos inside of it too
