Enjoyed my fish n chips last night.. portion was plentiful.. I ordered fish n chips, a fish cake (for the dog), a bag of scraps and a can of pop all for just over a tenner.. good value in this day and age

The fish and batter isn't cooked as well as 3_5yeqr ago was outstanding but the last twice I'd give it an average but still GOOD

With the new owners now firmly settled in my opinion is that the fish & chips are now better than ever. The batter is lighter & the small fish is larger than under the previous owners. People are always wary when someone new comes in and takes over an established business. Certainly no worries here. Keep up the great work.

The chips were nice , but they were ready for closing so obviously not much was left in the hot cupboard , my son wanted a battered sausage , but they don't do them , so he just had a large chip shop sausage , they are more like giant hotdogs , but he said it was nice , not my usual chip shop we were just passing through and on our way home after visiting a friend in the area .the staff were friendly the shop was clean and tidy .the prices were reasonable especially due to the cost of living prices at the current moment .
