Aesthete Coffee + Kitchen

We’ve been many times and both food and staff are very good. On two consecutive weeks though, there was an issue with the service; last week the orange juice we ordered came almost when we finished our food, despite us asking for it twice. This week we waited 75 minutes (with our toddler) for the food without any warning when we ordered. We would have preferred to be informed and chose to wait that long. A little bit more attention to the service is advisable, for such an otherwise good place for brunch.

I’m not a local, but I’ve been here a couple of times for brunch when visiting family and look forward to coming again - the food is great and a really nice place. Excellent vegetarian options also, without over-relying on fake meat/cheese (which can be nice but not all the time!) Not the cheapest place but fairly priced for an upscale-ish brunch place and portions are reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Not only that, but service went above and beyond- I left my purse there without even realising and staff went to the trouble of tracking me down on Facebook to return it - completely saving my hide.

Amazing food Would recommend eggs poutine and the breakfast sandwich (and the new ultimate loaded breakfast sandwich) Recently had croque madame eggs Benedict (pictured), this was less good than the other things. A bit on the small side and unfortunately the eggs were not runny (this is very unusual for here as their poached eggs are usually spot on) so this was a little bit of a shame. It was still tasty though.

Everything you would want from a top tier cafe! I come her regularly and I'm always greeted with smiles from the lovely staff who serve picturesque coffees which taste as good as they look. You'd regret trying the food here, as I did the first time I came for a drink only to see how excellently presented the dishes are served, fresh and perfectly seasoned it has never failed to impress in both presentation and flavour.
