The Island Café is excellent. We've eaten here a few times and always enjoyed the food and the service. The staff are great and always make a fuss of Reggie (they're dog friendly!). We like it here so much that we had our wedding evening party here a year ago and the staff were excellent again.
My only negative comment would be that it is a little bit on the more expensive side. On our last visit it cost £30 for 2 breakfast dishes (eggs benedict with extra bacon, mushroom benedict) and 2 black coffees. But the food is worth it in my opinion and I recommend that you give the Island Café a try.

The mushroom eggs benedict is 10/10! Perfectly balanced dish with lots of little extra bits you don't usually get that work so well together. My favourite place in Sheffield for breakfast, plus the interior design/vibe of the place is spot on.

A very nice menu, although not a vast choice on it still very good food. Music inside just a bit too loud and had to speak above it ( not really background music) good tracks though...good choice of beverages, and alcoholic drinks and children's food and drink..

This was unexpected. We attended as we had been in the museum and need a lunch. We were a bit unsure but gave it a go. A glad we did. We had the eggs benedict, which was really nice and tasty, and really well presented. We did have a little want due to the volumes of people being served, but we were advised of this and we were happy to wait. Again glad we did. All the staff were really nice and helpful.

Lunch after visiting museum. Bhaji wrap and a fried chicken wrap, absolutely delicious and well worth the price. Staff polite and attentive. If you're in the area, pop in, you will not be disappointed.

Please say thank you to the lovely lady with short hair in a pink top today who recommended I put honey in peppermint tea - she was right, it was amazing!! Looking forward to coming back for brunch.

Went for breakfast this morning and the eggs Benedict was divine. Very tasty. Staff are very friendly, service was good and didn’t wait too long for food. Have been three times now and each visit was as good as the last. Can’t wait to visit again.
