2nd Girlfriend Restaurant

Practically flawless. Had the arancini for starters. Basically fried rice balls with cheese and ham inside could have gladly had like 6 more. Came with a salad with dressing and a bolognese sauce was excellent. Had lasagna that came in a sauce with chips and that was great as well. Also had a chocolate fudge cake that had a sauce and cream with it. Something like butterscotch I think in the cake and genuinely one of the best cakes I've ever had. I have severe food allergies and that was dealt with brilliantly. Reasonably priced as well. One of the best meals I've had out in a very, very long time. Definitely worth a look.

This is my 2nd time at 2nd girlfriend (😁) and I have come away looking forward to making my next booking. The food is excellent, such good quality, and the service is so welcoming. The chef came out to ensure we enjoyed our meal and the complementary limoncello to finish was the perfect ending to a really pleasant evening.

A perfect experience. The meals were delicious and prepared in a matter of minutes, the service was impeccable from both waiting staff and management, and the whole experience was a very welcoming one. I’ll be coming back weekly! Worth travelling to if you’re in any part of Sheffield or surrounding areas - best Italian food I’ve tasted!

Best meal we've had in Sheffield. Starters, mains, and desserts were all reasonably priced, quality was fantastic, portion sizes were spot on, and presentation was great. Fillet steak was cooked spot on and the size was larger than we have had elsewhere. The host was engaging throughout the night, we will definitely be back!

Been here 2 or 3 times now. Not been disappointed. Tried a pasta dish on my last visit, was given a choice of pastas...loved it!... very good flavours. They didn't have a bottle of the wine I originally wanted from the menu, but offered an alternative at the same price...which was very good...and, bonus, no headache the following morning! I prefer this restaurant to some other Italian restaurants in the city centre... better on several levels. I could bang on about the food, the relative cleanliness of the loos, the friendliness of the staff etc. but the best compliment I could give is to say you should try it out for yourself... hope it delivers as well for you as it does for me.
