I only got one dish from this restaurant, but it was very tasty! The dish I got was the chicken rolls and they were stuffed with chicken in a fragrant curry sauce. Very nice I would definitely recommend for a snack!

Vegan jackfruit kothtu was absolutely amazing. Full of flavour, if I had more room I'd order another one! Amazing food.
I recently had the pleasure of trying Colombo Street Food's Devil Chicken Rice, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The flavors were spot-on, and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. I loved it so much that I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're a fan of delicious food, this dish is a must-try!
Really delicious with loads of choice! The devil rice is not for the faint hearted but amazing if you’re that way inclined.

I always love coming to Sheffield Plate, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff all around.
This time in particular I ordered a Garlic Chili Chicken Curry & Rice with a portion of Kanda Bhajis from Colombo Street Food... Holy moley it was absolutely divine!
I'm normally a slow eater but after one bite I could feel myself accelerating, towards the end of the dish I'd turned into an insatiable feral beast. Absolutely fantastic food!
We regularly visit the food hall. But I tried colombo for the first time today. WOW.
The portion was gigantic. Could have easily filled 2 of us. I had the mutton devil rice . The mutton just melted In the mouth. Chunky veg and amazing sauce. I asked for it spicy, and they didn't hold back ♨️🥵
The seekh kebabs are great for a side. Give it a try. It's amazing food
Colombo @ Sheffield Plate made a great change from the standard fastfood outlets on most main streets. The Sri Lanka Kothtu chicken and prawn had an amazing spicy taste to it
Food was cooked to order and arrived hot and tasty.
Situated inside the food hall alongside other street style kiosks, plenty of seating was available inside and out with a bar if you fancied a beer with your meal.
Definitely coming here again, tasty food, great venue and atmosphere made this outing a very nice experience, far far better than the fast food outlets you see in every town and city across the UK.

Looking for a quick, warming lunch, I can highly recommend the Chicken Kothtu, especially as part of the lunch deal (scroll down to the bottom of the menu accessed from the table qr code).
Service was quick, though being a midweek visit, the foodhall wasn't as busy as it might otherwise be. The Kothtu was filling, and very tasty. A nice change from a curry dish with rice, the chicken was full of flavour and it disappeared at a rate of knots.
The foodhall in general is a great place to grab a bite, but if you're stuck on what to have, I can at least recommend Colombo for value and tastiness!

Like no other flavour I've ever had.
Second time ordering here and has been amazing both times! I ordered the beef kothtu second time round, and it's full of flavour, served with a runny fried egg on top that was perfect. Quick service and friendly staff 🙂
