Possibly a one off, but the Sunday carvery was the best I’ve had anywhere in years. We’ll certainly be back again. Special mention to the guy carving the meat, he was as very friendly and cheerful , even after an obviously very busy afternoon.

Beautiful food! The carvery looked amazing bit I had the steak and ale pie! I mean I got a whole pie and not a birdseye pie! I real whopper of a beautiful pie
The staff would have catered to anything we would have requested but the storm meant they shutting the kitchen down early to let the staff go early which I thought to be a fantastic idea for the safety of the team

Came for breakfast, had bacon and egg muffin, chef came and told us there were no muffins, did we want a breadcake. This made it better in my opinion. The bacon was cooked just as I like it, 2 hash browns was a nice surprise. Great value for money. 👍

Went for a birthday meal, the carvery was lovely! Other meals all really good especially the Chicken Tikka. Good value . Had to queue for drinks as only 2 serving and it was very busy ,but had a fab time!

Large family pub serving a wide range of food, we went as a small group early afternoon and were able to find a quiet spot to chat and eat from their carvery section. Great food with a good selection of items all finished off with a large portion of their cakes. I would imagine that this place is popular with families and will be busy at weekends and school holiday times. Would recommend and we will be returning.

Absolutely the best gamble on taking a chance on dining here for lunch today. We didn’t need to book and there were plenty of choice to choose from with seating. Family friendly, lovely atmosphere and courteous staff. The food was delicious, hot and arrived in good time. Because our experience here was pleasant, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Food is value for money. You can get a"mountains" worth of food for less than a tenner. The facilities are good too.
Very family friendly with an indoor and outdoor play area. Good array of desserts as well, a decent cake and ice cream selection.

Today the pub was packed. There was queues to be seated, queues to order food and queues for the carvery. Luckily I ordered smothered chicken which was brought to the table. However over 30 minutes wait for both mains and for pudding to arrive. I had to ask the waitress twice to find out where our food was.
They seem to be short staffed. The food was lovely though. A large car park. An indoor and outdoor children's play area. The toilets are reasonably clean. Prices are reasonable too. There is a section of the pub reserved for adults only.
