Absolute gem of a place stayed here at there private rooms the barn courtyard that is separated from the pub/restaurant it’s self (the horse at shepshed)
Can’t fault anything from our stay, the rooms are stunning and clean and the food served in the restaurant is out of this world, compliments to the chefs on the evening service and breakfast service and also the bar staff that are welcoming and helpful
5 big stars from us and if we are ever back in the area we will definitely return
Nice pub, some great beers and the steak was delicious, great starters, nothing was too much trouble, staff were very friendly and helpful, definitely return and recommend to anyone

Booking was simple; phone in, reserve table, eat. Simple and easy!
Staff were super welcoming and were helpful thought the night. And the music choice was surprisingly good!

Place really busy. Good bar choice with 3 x cask on including draught bass.
We didn't have starters but had main meal and sweet. We both had 3meats.which was chicken. Gammon and beef this was a £3 supplement to having 1 meat. Yorkshire puddings came with sausage which was a toad in hole nice addition. Cauliflower cheese and veg lovely. Dessert we had cheese cake and wife had Pear & 🍐

Our go to restaurant for a date night or special occasion. The serving staff are lovely and the food is always delicious with the menu being regularly updated. The cocktails are also great. Will continue returning!
Lovely Sunday lunch for four of us nice atmosphere, great starter and main course and well kept beer.
All of the staff who served us were most polite and professional and were a credit to their employer. We will be back.
We had a fabulous meal , all three courses were beautifully presented. Great bottle of South African Shiraz. The staff were very attentive.
The absolute highlight was the lamb rump one of the best plates of food I have had in a long time . The tiny Shepherd's Pie was a taste sensation.
Could not ask for better service and the food was brilliant and more. Really made my Mum's surprise 50th a rememberable one and I shall be returning.
Amazing food and great service! We normally come for the roast on Sunday which is amazing! Had a pizza the other day and that was lovely too, wood fired!
