20 odd years ago I popped in her for a drink waiting for my pals to come down from Scotland via Yorkshire en route to Glastonbury, charming man behind the counter served me proper English Ale, loved the accent, been trying to find it on Google Maps all this time! Sorry for the delay in this review and all the very best!!

We was only in the town for one night, we visited a few places. This was by far the best and the busiest. A varied range of age groups. The outside area was remarkable.

Land Lady is spot on, and she has very proficient and courteous staff. Regular entertainment. Great mix of customers so far. Who could ask for more. Just a great Public House. 👍 😃 Jubbly.

Friendly pub with a good range of ciders, lagers and beers. All the 'sports' channels (4 large screen TVs) plus 'The Billy' hosts skittles, darts and pool teams playing in their local leagues. Live music can be enjoyed on Saturday nights. Worth a visit.

This is a nice traditional pub. Pool, skittles, conversation and now sports mean you can go here just to drink and meet up with like minded people.

Absolutely brilliant pub, friendly atmosphere, a proper locals local. They have live sports, live music but they don’t do food YET

Lovely meal for valentines tonight couldn’t fault it !!!! Amazing,throughly recommend it. Great proper public house.
