No. 10 Restaurant

We had a fabulous evening in this refreshingly quirky restaurant. Excellent service and local advice, really well cooked food from an interesting menu. I enjoyed belly pork with smoked mash and roasted cod, chorizo and beans. We had desserts because they looked so good when being taken to another table. Wry reasonably priced - highly recommend. Worth going to Sheringham just for this restaurant.

This cosy, owner managed restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step across the threshold. Sonya and her daughter Tilda will be there to greet and seat you and to take time to chat with you. The menu is simple, comprising fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. All dishes are lovingly prepared from scratch in the restaurant's kitchen. We were a table of 5 and our tasty and varied choices of starters are in the photos. I'd recommend the lamb kofta on a bed of couscous and the roasted peppers with goat's cheese. No. 10 offers 3 fish dishes on their summer menu. I had the plaice and my wife had the cod, both of which were absolutely delicious. A vegetable dish for the table, comprising carrots and broccoli was perfectly cooked. The desserts too are great. We'd recommend the cherry & almond tart and the Crème Brûlée. Service is excellent, we were addressed by name having introduced ourselves on arrival to the vivacious Sonya. 5 stars in all categories. Highly recommend and great value. Will definitely return.

No.10 is the most delicious place to dine in Sherringham. Perfect place for a date night to a lovely get together with friends or family evenings only. Returning each year Sonya is always on form the service is exceptional which compliments the food, Absolutely delicious! The menu is seasonal which is always filled with local produce. Adapting to dietary needs a bonus there is no shellfish used, as we have a shellfish allergy. I enjoy a starter & main but the puddings are perfected, with the options of liquor coffees, love the Calipso! No.10 is the sweetest chic restaurant you will not be disappointed! One of my returning favs along the North Norfolk Coastline.

I had the pleasure of eating in Sonya and Mustafa's restaurant tonight, and the meal was a revelation: everything from the bread, to the chutney, to the deserts were hand-made with artistry and precision. Sonya was a generous and attentive host, and the space itself is elegant, personal, and stylish. I wish I had come before: it is my new favourite restaurant in the UK. Thank you.
