Crofters Restaurant

Ate here by chance last night,during the busy viking festival, many places were fully booked ,we walked in and lucky enough to get a table for four. The food is amazing,the meat especially, my husband and I had the pork which was very tasty, lean and moist.Our friends had beef and turkey and were equally impressed. Also the portion size is very generous. Excellent choice of vegetables, all fresh and cooked perfectly, the gravy was so delicious. Its a small establishment, but cosy.Will definitely go back next time in Sheringham. Very good value for money too!

Took our chance getting a table on Easter Sunday, walked in just in time. Fantastic roast dinner, meat and gravy was amazing, good selection of vegetables, only slight disappointment was Yorkshire pudding not home made but frozen and microwaved, however didn't spoil our tasty lunch. Only other slight annoyance was people bringing dogs in, whilst I don't have an issue with dog friendly places this small eatery wasn't the place, not enjoyable having a dog nearby whilst eating or hearing it bark. Well worth a visit, we'd definitely go again when in the area.

My wife Jean and I always frequently visit Crofters when we come to the area on holiday. The food is wonderful and is excellent value for money too. We always get a lovely welcome from Pedro and all his staff, who look after us so well. Our choice of menu is the carvery and the food is always hot and tasty. The meat is lovely and tender and the portions are more than generous. Without a doubt Crofters is always our first choice of eateries when we are in the Sheringham area. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Me and my other half had "words" after Crofters,as I dared to suggest this was as good as her Sunday Roast! A gem of a place right in the high street,food cooked to perfection. Only very minus point was tables a little too close together I'm now sounding like CRH on strictly! If there was a 10 stars,it would get it.

We had pulled pork loaded homemade chips, which is very tasty and so was the homemade side salad coleslaw which came with on the side. The pulled pork for us was more of a chopped pork in a tasty sauce than "string like" pulled pork but still very nice. We visited for Sunday carvery lunch and the shop was very busy with queues out the front door. Food was excellent. Value for money very good. The only small negative is the shops inner decor and tables. It needs a freshen up and perhaps a woman's touch? with table cloths (even paper ones would suffice or update/improve the table tops with a light coloured sticky back plastic, which would freshen the look) and artificial flowers in a bottle on each table? for lunch and perhaps a candle added at evening dinner times to make the environment more appealing to the eye. It unfortunately looks more like a workmans breakfast cafe inside, which lets down the excellent food and service from the very "rushed off his feet" waiter. Booking a table for Sunday Carvery Lunch is very wise, as it gets super busy, especially on theme weekends in Sheringham.

What a place! Friendly and helpful staff. The decor was basic but clean. We didn't use the toilet facilities while we were there. The food was hot, so were the plates (an added bonus). The meat joints looked appetising and tasted delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection. The selection of vegetables were cooked al dente not a colourless mush. Such a shame we live 3 hours away or we'd be frequent visitors! Thank you.

We came to crofters whilst on holiday, the food was amazing, service was amazing! Only down side was that they didn’t have any high chairs and our buggy had to be kept by the door which meant it was in the way of others. Luckily we called and booked, and at that point they mentioned they had no high chairs so we took our travel one. Will definitely be going back
