Went here for lunch today and the food was lovely! What made it better was the service. From ordering our food to it being delivered...we asked for another fork for our son as he wouldn’t eat a kids meal as it would be too big but rather than moan at us, the lovely bloke went away and came back with a plastic plate, knife and fork...so he could pick at our...brilliant service and a fab garden for children.
What a fantastic place to have a drink and a meal, the staff are very sincere in there welcome and friendly. Good selection of beers and a varied choice on the menu. Decor, service very good. Well worth a visit.
Loved the pub. Good ale cask and keg loads of memorabilia. Live music when we were there on Saturday night
Like a lot of establishments needed more staff on the bar.
Other than that would thoroughly recommend a visit.
Beer garden as well
Nice pub great outside beer garden. Good range of drinks. Food typical pub food basic but what we had was very nice.
Busy pub on the High St with good range of beers and food service. Whilst we were there several phone bookings and personal callers booked tables. Eclectic collection of "pubanalia" (which I'm sure is a term from Bargain hunt) and ales well kept. Staff were friendly despite being quite busy.
Amazing pub it’s like stepping back in time with all the memorabilia in there. The beer is great and the staff are friendly and all the parking in the high st is free after 6pm. Dog friendly and the food looked good but we didn’t eat here.
Nice pub with some great antiques on the walls and shelves good choice of drinks, The food menu looks good and will definitely sample next time I'm in
Had steak and chips followed by Belgium waffle with toffee sauce and ice cream. Absolutely delicious, steak was beautiful, cooked perfectly and so soft, lovely. Staff was friendly and the place was full of very interesting artifacts, loved it.
Lovely pub worth a visit food freshly made, hot and good size portions. Highly recommended the Homemade Chil con-carne which is lovely
Delicious food and a really staff. The bar is full of old things
Decent pub grub. We had scampi, chips and peas and Chilli, rice and nachos. It was hot, tasty and a reasonable portion size. They allow dogs in certain parts of the pub (anywhere on wooden floor area). Prices are seaside resort level it cost £30 for two main courses and two drinks. Comfy and friendly atmosphere.
Nice pub, serves AND spirits AND snacks !! Kids were happy to run around and play on the slide and swings in the back garden, whilest we unwound with a pint or two. Only complaint..could of done with a couple craft beers or two, but it did have a nice variety still so not to bad.
