A lovely pub in the centre of Baildon. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and we love coming for quiz night on a Wednesday. Great to sit outside for a pint in the sun too!

Visited the Malt shovel recently with husband on a Saturday evening for a meal and Karaoke/Music.
Cozy atmosphere, bar staff friendly
Food was good, drinks average price.
Great Karaoke night, good sound system, friendly DJ, shame it's only once a month.
Adequate Seating inside and outside.
Small car park at rear of pub, we couldn't get a space, so parked across the road on a car park behind the shops.
Will visit again.

Really nice traditional pub with raging fires. We've had lunch a couple of times, food is great value (it's a Kreen King Pub) and the staff are excellent. The pub is a great meeting point, with a great atmosphere. We are not from Baildon, but you can see it is a community hub.
Previously I had the halloumi kabab, which didn't disappoint.
This time the wife had corned beef pie, and I had the cheese and potato, for the price it's fantastic value, tasty to.

Great lunch. Crispy Chicken strips in a Louisiana-style coating with Texan-style BBQ sauce on a flat bread nan with salad & chips loads of chillies and lots of chips. Extra BBQ sauce. Really good.

Lovely staff, very friendly. Warm and cosy. Typical chain pub food but always nicely prepared and presented. Good value. Fun quiz with vouchers to be won on Wednesday evenings.
