I wish I could give a higher score, we had the most amazing time! We were lucky enough to be there during the week they were trialling their new cocktail range as a flight and they were so amazing! A few standouts were the wagu beef old fashion (honestly give it a try it’s an amazing savoury cocktail that’s rich and creamy) and the blackberry blitz was so fresh and delicious! They food was incredibly delicious- we loved it all, so well thought out and well paced as well, and the wine pairing were just incredible! The staff were so amazing, with special mentions you the lovely bartender who had such passion for the cocktails, and our lovely waitress who we chatted with about wine and wine making!

Just fantastic food. We had the tasting menu with wine flight and it was all delicious. Some really interesting wine pairings that you wouldn't think to make yourself, but all complemented the food very well. The 6 courses went well together, and the portion sizes were perfect. The white port Manhattan was a great way to start the meal as well. Overall a really great dining experience. Definitely one to try and get a table at if you can!

Me and my wife both had a superb Saturday evening at the Walrus. The 6 course menu is spectacular. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We'll be back

Good restaurant and it’s great value. Small menu but all the better for it. Cooking was accomplished and service good and friendly from a young team. Wines are excellent. It’s well worth a visit if you’re in town.

Thank you Katie from the Albert Shed for recommending The Walrus. Got here at 20:58, was met by the delectable Serena...fortunately I wasnt able to flutter my eyelids enough to persuade the kitchen to allow me to try the 3 course menu for the evening @ £48 per person. So glad Serena persuaded me to go for the Walrus bar Menu. I had the... Truffle mash - £5 Kentucky fried duck (KFD) - £7 Lobster - £12 The Walrus Brownie - £6 This is an absolute bargain menu with truly amazing food. Great wine reccomendation by Serena again...and to finish off a very good espresso. Another Serena recommendation - Blackcurrant Disaronno Sour (a must try, very nice) To all the guests eating the main menu...I thoroughy recommend you try the bar food menu...you will NOT be disappointed!!! As for the prententious plonkers who have given The Walrus anything less than a 5 star review...clearly don't understand fresh ingredients put together expertly by the kitchen.😍❤️ I can't wait to come back and try The Main Menu

The young staff were very welcoming, friendly and super informative about the food and wine. We had the six course tasting menu with the flight of wines and they were quite happy to accommodate our pescatarian preference. All the wines were lovely, generous amounts and perfectly matched to each delicious course. The Tokaj with the sweet was superb. The Walrus gets our seal of approval and we had a whale of a time.

OMG amazing. Cannot fault the food, service or atmosphere. We had the tasting menu and cannot recommend it highly enough. There are things I would not have selected individually but as part of the tasting menu so glad I had the opportunity to taste. It was my birthday so a perfect treat. Not cheap but so so worth it for the quality and taste of the food and the perfect service. We will be back!

Great meal at the Walrus, had the tasting menu with wine flights. Each course was superb and the accompanying wine flights offered great value for money compared to some other restaurants in the guide. Would highly recommend, and look forward to visiting again.

The food was nice, especially the dessert (miso mousse and dark aero), but not quite what I expected from a Michelin Star restaurant as I wasn't completely blown away. It's also very pricey, but the staff were so friendly and we enjoyed ourselves... Nice to do something different!

The food is very extravagant, extremely perfect and prepared with a lot of love. This may sound a bit strange, but I have never eaten anything so tasty. I chose the 6-course tasting menu to enjoy the whole variety of the cuisine. Just look at the pictures, it tastes even better. And the prices much too low.
