La Lanterna - Shrewsbury - Photo album

On a 3 day holiday and booked this for our first evening, I didn't realise but it was round the corner from the hotel Prince Rupert. I live in England for 13 years, I lived in London and I live in Birmingham. I've been to countless Italian restaurants but this restaurant transported me to Italy the place reminds me of a tavern in Italy and the service is wonderful the food comes hot really made in the oven not something heated in

Had the lunch special of roll and butter, bruschetta, pasta, mixed salad and a glass of wine for the fantastic price of £8.50. Food was delicious an
Two of us went for a meal on a Tuesday evening. This is a unique place being situated in an old church vestry in the centre of old Shrewsbury. Authentic Italian - Small with a nice atmosphere. The food and service were both excellent and not at all expensive. We will definitely go again.
An exquisite restaurant in such beautiful historic surroundings, staff and food fabulous, 😍, would sincerely recommend booking, this was a joint birthday and Wedding anniversary treat, and absolutely delicious, wine devine , price per person for two courses around twenty pounds, but also daily house
