Booked a table for a quick evening meal whilst on a short break staying in Hartley. Booked on line and response was very quick. Service was very good and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Food was hot on arrival and hot would recommend this place.

Came here for lunch the other last week and was very impressed the steak ciabatta I had was lovely the steak was cooked perfectly.
My mom said her soup was really tasty.
I had driven past a few times and glad I finally came back to try it as it’s such a lovely pub.

Lovely location overlooking the river with large outside terrace. It was a bit cool when we visited so we ate inside but went to sit outside for coffee after our meal. So peaceful and serene. Food was lovely and atmosphere nice. Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening so book in advance.

What an amazing place to stay! We were made to feel welcomed and valued from the moment we arrived. The team are friendly yet professional. As it was our Ruby Wedding we received a surprise room upgrade from our second night. Our previous room was great but the upgrade room was simply stunning. We had planned to eat in the restaurant just on the first night but the food and the staff were so first class that we ate there each evening of our stay! Would throughly recommend The Riverside Inn and a big thank you to all who made our stay so special.

Stubbled across this Pub/Restaurant whilst one a day out and Wow.
The location is amazing, we didn't eat during this visit as we had already eaten but the food the other guests were getting looked amazing.
The Inn is right on the river and with the good weather and watching the swans go by, my wife and I felt very relaxed.
The price of the drink were very reasonable and a good selection.
the outdoor furniture was the best part, there was a good mix of table and chairs, picnic tables and also rattan garden furniture which was very comfortable and relaxing.
I could have stayed there all day.
Will definitely be returning.

Had lunch here on August Bank Holiday with family visiting from Germany who commented on the beautiful setting & views. We all enjoyed our delicious main courses particularly the salmon florentine. Desserts equally delicious. Would strongly recommend the apple tart with coconut ice cream. Service by Caitlin was excellent. Will definitely eat here again.

Only sat outside for one drink due to travelling, but outside area was amazing. Totally dog friendly, plenty of water bowls available and beautiful views of river. Wish I could give more stars but didn’t go inside, eat or stay there. Would be very happy to visit again when passing or maybe try out their rooms one day

Stopped of on the way into Shrewsbury and what a find! The place is lovely, the food was delicious and the service was quick and so friendly. Also very dog friendly too with little jars of treats for your four legged friend! And to top it off the view was outstanding looking over the river Severn with terraces to sit and eat or just enjoy the view. Highly recommend
