In a lovely position near St Alkmunds, and The Prince Rupert Hotel. We had excellent cafetiere coffee & cream and delicious Bakewell tart. The other cakes looked great too, as did the sandwiches etc that we saw others enjoying. Nice light oak interior.

Considering it was a Saturday, its really difficult to find a coffee shop open beyond 4pm. Then we came across this place. In the style of a tea room; large, open, airy and comfortable. Great selection of tea, really nice cakes and very friendly service. Can't fault really. Situated outside the church, the premises offers great views of the medieval streets of Shrewsbury

No visit to Shrewsbury is complete without afternoon tea at "Camilla's" - we've always called it that and discovered most people do. Great locality, comfortable ambience, friendly, well-trained staff. The afternoon tea is ample and delicious. Neat sandwiches, rich cake and infallible scones with lashings of jam and clotted cream - heaven!

Best cream tea I've had in years. Homemade scones are delicious.

Had a lovely lunch, we had my granddaughter in her pram with us and the staff were great and showed us to a table that had room to put her pram. The place was very clean, spacious and bright and the staff extremely polite and helpful.

A really lovely location and very tastefully kitted out cafe. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Very clean and tidy with a good selection of drinks and light refreshments. Certainly worth a visit.

A perfect cup of tea. Cream scone is off the scale - warm scone with loads of fruit, pot of Jam and more than enough clotted cream. Good friendly service too. This tea room is a gem. Highly recommended!

Very nice and cosy, a change the Starbucks of this world. The only thing I would ask for is a better selection of cakes in the glass display, but otherwise lovely. Cream tea is also nice.
