Enjoyed a lovely family meal from the new menu tonight � New landlady/staff are very friendly and do anything to accommodate you & ensure you are comfortable and food is to your satisfaction. Must say food was spot on - don’t let the low prices think that the food is sub standard because it’s anything but!!! Get yourselves down & support local business - you won’t be disappointed ��
Held my hubby's 30th birthday bash here, and it was fantastic. For a very reasonable fee we had use of a private function room, food for 60 and a dj. Drinks very reasonably priced, and food was spot on. The landlord is really laid back and very helpful.
Will definitely be using this place again for any more functions.
I have been around and every time I ask for a well done steak I get over cooked steak, sometimes when you turn it over it’s burned and I always just stand up and leave it untouched but this time around I got perfection. Juicy, well cooked, soft, fresh 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾❤️🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

Went for a meal and for what it was, I really couldn't fault it. Really hot, plenty on the plate. Checked on through the meal by a member of staff. Good beer choice!
Nice dog friendly pub. Sadly the kitchen was closed the day we visited, which was a disappointment, but otherwise a lovely pub.

Was here for the wake of a relative. They looked after us very well with a very nice buffet. Large place that shows sports. Will drop in again if I'm in Shrewsbury.

This is my new local. It's a great pub. The staff are great, the beer is excellent, love the garden. Child and dog friendly. Feel lucky having it so close to home.
Great for sports Tv and dogs and try the Sunday lunch
