Great place to chill before and after football. The staff were absolutely brilliant.
Nice beer lots of space for the kids to run around. If it had slides and a swing it would be great.
Big gastropub on the edge of the village. 4 stars because I didn't stay long enough to sample the menu, but a comfortable pub with excellent staff and well-kept ales.
I visited 'The Wild Pig' for the first time yesterday afternoon, I found it very clean and friendly and the staff very pleasant. I sampled a few Carlings which I thought was very well poured and tasted spectacular. I did have one issue though, an issue that kept me unable to sleep all last night, and I can see it bothering me for days to come. The problem I have is with the name and logo of the establishment 'The Wild Pig' a wild pig to me and I imagine most people is a wild boar type of pig, but on your logo it is quite clearly a domesticated pig. but other then that I very much enjoyed my visit.
A pub formally called the Brooklands, has had a face lift and does some nice food, a great location by the football stadium. It is also a good place for events as well as a wake.staff are helpful and friendly.
