Rested at this little gem on the way back from Wales. New ownership since a month, be sure to support them as this was the best rest stop we had driving from Holland. Nice and clean, very friendly and generous on the meal sizes. Fairly priced burger (that tastes ten times better than your average American motorway joint). Finally coffee to go also fine!
We arrived, after a terrible journey, for just a quick coffee/tea and a snack but didn't realise the time, they were closing and had just cashed up but a lovely young man asked if we wanted drinks and offered to make us a coffee or tea, ended up with cake too which was yummy. So friendly and so helpful. Will definitely stop by when passing again. Thank you, you saved us. xx
We stopped for a quick break and ordered some lovely home made soup and roll, cheesy chips, cake and drinks. Everything was really nice, staff were very pleasant, service was fast and cafe was very clean, We sat outside and which was dog friendly so suitable for dog owners as you could be served outside. Good menu at reasonable prices. Will stop there again. Plenty of parking outside, toilets and picnic tables and lots of grassland. Well maintained.
Useful little spot to stop. Clean toilets. People letting their dogs out for a quick toilet break and leg stretch too. Only criticism is that the food didn't really cater for vegans, hence the 4 stars not 5. My friend is a meat eater and thoroughly enjoyed his food though

Great parking, plenty of tarmac. The ladies greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, they were friendly and really helpful. No problem swapping items on the breakfast. Breakfast was really good value, comes with toast and a tea or coffee ( instant, but you can upgrade to a "proper" coffee for £1) my veggie breakfast had veggie sausages, halloumi , hash browns plus all the usual 😋. His meaty one was good as well. Seating inside and lots outside. There is a serving hatch onto the decking for those just having a drink and butties. Nice grass area and picnic bit. Loos are not part of the cafe but not far, not the best but not the worst! Loads of bikers stopping for a pit stop and meet up. Great place!
A strange little service station. Set in a wooded grassed area with Loos and a snack bar / cafe. No petrol
But for all that the people in the cafe were nice they did me a large tea to go for £2 as we had brought a we had our own food as we have a dog who we will not leave in the car whilst we eat ...I didn't ask but they may have let her in
I did see a good looking burger and chips get delivered to a table whilst I was waiting

I can highly recommend this cafe as a superb break in a journey between Shrewsbury & Oswestry. There’s plenty of grassed areas to stretch your dogs’ legs (and your own!), the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is fantastic. Thank you very much for your hospitality!! 10/10

Food was of a high standard, we had a full English and a bacon, sausage and egg bap.

Been going here for many years but, the new management have done wonders. Was looking very unkempt for a few years, now the grass has been cut, it looks great. Just the place for a stop over on a journey.
Toilets still need much work, I understand the council are sorting these out soon. Keep up the good start.
The food is local and great quality, not just a cafe, it also has picnic tables and toilets. Also, a great stop for dogs to. A great place to get off the road
