Lovely cafe set in a wooded area. Loads of picnic benches and different walks to go on. Parking £2 for up to 2 hours when we visited. Can park for longer though. Highly recommend going along and supporting the cafe.
Lovely variety of walks at Haughmond Hill but have to say it’s the cafe that is the real gem! The welcome is always warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the food is superb. All food is locally sourced and home made cakes and soups etc are always delicious. There are a variety of homemade specials that pop up, my current favourite is the lemon and blueberry scones with lemon curd - an absolute delight! Can’t recommend it highly enough! My dog also recommends the frozen doggy treat recently introduced!!
Great place for a walk and rest at the cafe. Lots of different routes for different abilities. Great for young kids on balance bikes, buggy friendly and great for dogs too. Can get muddy in winter so wellies a good idea! Cafe serves really good bacon butties, and has nice coffee (which can be served in a take away cup to take on your walk). Parking charges of about £1 for 2 hours (can pay on Ringo).
