The Cock Inn is still very much a traditional old British pub, lots of history here and great food served with good service. Good choice of beers wine and spirits and some good specials on the board to choose from. Had the home made burger, which turned out to be a substantial meal on its own.
Lovely place. Good gin! Pork Sunday roast with crackling and supreme chicken very tasty. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

One thing of our regular eating establishments, good food, good hosts, superb historic building.
Being one of the oldest pubs it was good to visit, ceilings and door frames low for the tall but didn't detract from the natural cosy feeling you got from walking in. Staff were very helpful and looked after us to high standard,the food was served in a timely manner and no complaints there. There were 8 of us and one child, there was something for everyone and very nicely presented, the only negative for me was it was a bit cold in the room we were in for first half an hour but then warmed up, Will definitely come back again.
Fabulous pub. Staff are lovely. According to my other half the beer is perfect and the food was great. Please pop in if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed *****
