The Alma Pub

Was at a 40th birthday party...what a beautiful hall the decor is lovely ...great food...friendly staff...had travelled by train to get there...the station is round the corner so transport by train or bus is not an issue if drinking...would recommend this to anybody that lived this way...give it a try for party etc 😀

I had my birthday party here at the beginning of September and I had THE BEST TIME! I hired the function room which is gorgeous. Barely needed decorating as its so beautiful, the staff couldnt have been anymore accomodating. So kind, friendly and helpful. I was able to order my own party food which The Alma were able to store until the evening. They have a resident DJ who is also very good. We had use of the garden for a while too which was lovely, understandably, this was closed later in the evening as it is a residential area (very respectful 👍) It is a cash bar only and there are cash points close by if needed. My experience here from start to finish was brilliant! Matt is so lovely and helpful and you can see they really look after their business. Thanks to everyone involved! Youre brilliant xxx
