Reviews of Pizza Express

I celebrated my birthday here with around 12 friends and we were all thoroughly impressed with the food and hospitality we received. We had ordered a lot of food and it was all served to us with no delays or mistakes. We had staff checking on us from time to time if we needed anything and everyone was so kind and helpful! I will definitely be returning!

Visited here with a larger group of friends and we had a lovely time. Manager was super accommodating with my specific order (I was craving a hawaiian but can’t handle hot food so had to get specific toppings) and the pizza turned out so lovely! Had my favourite garlic bread with mozzarella which was incredible and finished with a fab sundae I shared with a friend. Staff kept kindly refilling our water and were lovely considering how late we had arrived (I think we were the last table there that night bless them). Toilets were clean and atmosphere was very relaxing despite a birthday group being there (they were tabled in a different section so that was very considerate haha thanks). Definitely going again!

Every time I’ve been in with my partner we have been served or chatted to the same gentleman who works here, he is always so lovely and remembers what we normally order. He goes above and beyond and has gone out of his way to make us cocktails that have been taken off the menus when I mentioned I missed having them in passing. I never catch him name but I would really appreciate giving him a huge thank you from us!

Family meal for eleven. Online booking process was straightforward. Warm welcome. Service was very good. Food was fine although not outstanding. Mostly pizza on offer of course as you'd expect with other dishes like lasagne also available. I just think it lacks a bit of atmosphere/intimacy but not everyone is looking for that. There is free parking available in nearby streets if required.

Superb staff on the day we visited. They were helpful and despite us being the last customers there, there was absolutely no attempt to push us out quickly. A new pizza on their menu was delicious. Shame their coffee machine was not working (and they had run out of Diet Coke - what!) Very pleasant dining experience.

I recently visited Sidcup Pizza Express after having a disappointing experience in the Bexleyheath branch. I can honestly say it was day and night difference between the two. From the staff to the food. The waiters were very welcoming when we arrived and promptly seated us. The waiter for our table a young chap called Alfie was fabulous, very polite in his way of speaking, respectful and helpful. We were a bit of a nightmare when ordering desert but he was very patient and having a laugh with us. The food was really delicious 😋. Thank you Sidcup brach and wonderful Alfie for the superb dining experience.

OI am appalled at the service I received this evening. One of our party was very ill and so rather than go out we ordered for delivery online at 6:30pm. At 8pm we had received nothing ( we allowed the Friday night busyness so were quite relaxed about the longevity of the wait) but were told ( and I quote) “this is not our problem, you need to call Delivero..” Erm, the contract with Delivero is with Pizza Express not with me. It is actually Pizza Express’ problem!!! Apparently after I expressed this opinion we were told it would be with us at quarter to 9! And I received no apology at all. I would have been a lot less annoyed if I had been apologised to. I used to work in catering and I would never have run my business this way. Will never go here or order here again. Disgusted....it is now 5 to 9....I called and asked what was happening at 9, was given my first apology and said that I should have received an apology the first time and the phone was hung up.
