Best fish and chip shop around by far, tastes great every time, large portions lovely friendly people. Highly recommend.

Lovely owner and fantastic chips.
I visited the shop just before closing this evening. It was 21:55. Most fish and chip shops would have been reluctant to serve us and given us old chips but the owner and staff were so welcoming and made us fresh fish and chips. They were all very polite and the chips were freshly made and of excellent quality. Just what we needed. Thank you for a lovely meal and great service 😊.

Customer service has always been spot on. Lovely owner and the girls behind the counter are very friendly. Parking is not the easiest and wish they would take card. Apart from that they are spot on as their food tastes great too.

We got the Haddock and Chips £10.95 via Deliveroo on a weekday evening.
The portions are huge so 2 of us shared 1 portion.
I was half expecting the fish to be soggy by the time the delivery arrived - as with most fish & chips places- but I was so surprised. The batter was SUPER crispy, the fish was really meaty and the whole thing just wasn’t greasy at all. Chips were nice too.
Highly recommend and would definitely get this again.

Had the large Cod & chips - Excellent
Will definately go back and highly recommend the C&C.
Made to feel welcome and had a good chat whilst Cod was cooked to order.

Honestly the best fish and chips place I've ever been to. Really friendly owners, chips are delicious, and fish is the right mixture of crispy and greasy without being soggy. It's a gift and a curse knowing about this great place 😉

Best fish and chips in the area plus does other items chicken ribs etc can eat in or takeaway most pleasant and nicest husband and wife team. Special oap prices been there many times and cannot fault recommend it to everyone
