Just had first take away from hook and line. Place is clean and modern. Staff friendly. Fish cooked fresh to order and was the best fish and chips we've ever had in Sidcup or the surrounding areas. Will def return.

Really wonderful place took my dad in wheelchair the loveliest accommodating staff made it so pleasurable, pensioners flcod and chips came with tea and a roll ! Really fresh and lovely ...thankyou All so much

Been using Hook & Line since it opened. Never a bad meal. Tonight we hosted 8 friends for a Fish&Chip night, everyone was complementary and said how it excelled their own locals. Fresh cooked, dry crisp batter and real chips. A genuine 5* establishment..

Excellent fish and chips, get lovely fresh roll and butter with senior cod and chips, portion good sized, everything spotlessly clean and all staff polite and friendly, cannot fault this local shop.

Great fish and chips. Tried both the dine in and takeaway service recently and hard to fault (large portion is large!). Definitely worth a visit.

Best local fish and chips in my opinion, and everything's always made fresh to order. Portions are decent, staff are always friends and I like how everything's in paper packaging.

Really clean, nice place. Staff are lovely and very helpful.
The cod we ordered, were fresh and chips were really nice too, however the batter could be improved as it's bland. This impacts the flavour of the fish. Salad was fresh too and the price is not too bad considering the location.

The fish & chips here are amazing!! You may have to wait a bit but fresh every time so well worth the wait. Have lived in sidcup 30 years so have tried a few fish shops in that time but this is by far the best so far👌Never fails to please👍👍

Great quality fish and chips - just like it used to be. And you can sit down and eat in this one.
Price is great unlike some.of the chippies near me.
Would Almost certainly use again.

Large cod, chips with mushy peas there feeds 3 of us happily every Friday evening. All produced fresh whilst you wait. It gets very busy Friday evening so phone and order in advance. Thumbs up from me
