We visited 'The Grove' by chance as we needed a late lunch and it was the nearest according to google maps. What an absolute delight!! The scones, cakes and merangues on display as you enter were so, so tempting. We sat in a delightful garden area but the inside looked relaxed and cosy. The 3 of us couldn't decide what to try as all the menu sounded delicious. In the end we had a mix of food to try as much as possible. The combination of tastes and textures was amazing. Do not be put off by seeing vegetarian and gluten free on the menu - as a confirmed meat eater this was food that filled you and with exceptional taste. Service was friendly and welcoming. Price was very reasonable. Do NOT miss eating here!

We booked The Grove for a private lunch and it was incredible! Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The dessert was incredible as well! Contact them with what you might want even if it’s outside their normal hours.

Whilst on our first holiday,it was my birthday too. My lady see some amazing reviews of this place and decided to book us a table for a birthday treat. Although very busy,Carl and Rachel were gracious enough to accept us. We'll we are so very pleased that they did. There is absolutely nothing that this place can faulted for. Hosting,staff,atmosphere and the feeling of being made to feel welcome are of the highest standards. I could go on about the menu that has been created for hours. I like my food and know good food when I eat it. This was something special. If you are anywhere within 100 miles you have,need,must pay a visit. I defy anyone,who is lucky enough to be able to book a table,not to throughly enjoy the whole experience. Carl and Rachel have hit the nail clean on the head. The staff say they feel like part of their family too. I promise you that for value for money and whatever you eat,you will never find a better place. Book early to avoid disappointment.
