Lovely food and friendly staff. They don't cramp you in but give you space between tables

Cosy cafe :)) with busy traffic in plaza. The English breakfast was nice ♥️ with non oily, crunchy hash-brown. Cafe latte and Americano were perfect. Kindly service from senior staff, but should improve about service mind from the younger one.

My wife and I paid a winter visit to Skeggy yesterday and wasn’t sure where to call for lunch. We came across The Cottage Loaf by chance and gave it a try. I had meat pie veg and chips and my wife had vegetarian meal with chips. Both meals were absolutely lovely and came in on the 2 for £17 deal. The staff were really helpful and friendly and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Next visit ,we know exactly where we will head for our food.

It was great quality and fast service. The food was delicious and it was great that they asked about different options. We plan to return.

If your looking for a cafe to remind you of the past then this is the ideal one. Its still set in its old fashioned way, you walk in and and its still set like the late 80's or early 90's. You wont find younger crowds or familys but great for a coffee over a catch up
