Cod And Cockerel

I noticed that the cod and cockerel now have a sign advertising waffles. I had the chocolate Explosion, a 7inch beautifully freshly cooked waffle covered in melted white and milk chocolate. Oreo pieces and 2 scoops of ice cream. I had another one two days later, so it's safe to say I will be having another one quite soon.

We popped in here to grab some food, kids wanted some actual fish and annoyingly kids meals were very good price, £1.50 and included a drink, but closest they had was fish fingers or fish cakes on the kids list so I got some normal sized cod and chips to share with them. Lady behind counter said that for cod and chips you also get a free side so that was a bonus. Food itself was perhaps a little greasy, but no more than we have probably experienced from most other fish and chip takeaways. The food tasted good, the kids were happy and actually it didn't cost loads (well at least compared to what it normally costs us!) Only pain was trying to find somewhere to park outside, it's possible I missed a car park or something but I certainly didn't see one..! Our experience wouldn't put us popping here again if in need of a fish and chips fix! 😉

WOW give yourselves a pat on the back. called in hear months back the scruffy unshaved fryer was miserable the food was greasy I said I'd never eat from hear again. so my partner ordered food online I didn't know it had come from hear the food was perfect and the delivery was about 20 mins. so I called tonight to my surprise a new fryer the staff are great and the food was spot on again 5 star all the way. Well done guys for turning things round 👏👍👌
