Had a fantastic evening at the Royal George, new fantastic owners. Its a decent size pub with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a pint or 5. The staff are great, they're friendly and a decent chat. The drinks taste good so you know they're doing all the right things and keeping the place clean. There's a large selection of drinks too.
I've only been a handful of times but I'm happy to return again and again. I look forward to seeing how the improvements turn out later down the line with the outside.

If you are looking for a lovely local pub with fantastic homemade food look no further. The george offers a wide range of home cooked food for all the family. I would highly recommend their chicken parmo and steak pie. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and make sure you have a lovely meal. We have also used the restaurant for family occasions with large numbers the service was still amazing and would reccomend and will be using for functions in the future.
Good size portion and cooked to ordered with proper chips. Good pint at fair price. What more can you ask for. Been numberious time a d had everything on the menu.

I rang this place on the off chance that they could accommodate me for Sunday lunch at really short notice. I was cold and hungry having just completed the Poultry Run at Loftus.
I had the most amazing experience, which started with the warm welcome on the phone. The pub is divine with roaring wood burning stoves in the bar and restaurant.
I was thoughtfully sat next to the fire and had a great Sunday roast. Left a very happy customer and will definitely be back. Thank you for making me so welcome.

I eat here fairly regularly and the simple, home cooked food is of good quality and well presented. Prices for food are very reasonable and they have a good selection of drinks. Staff are always friendly and, as a dog owner, this is a #DogFriendlyPub.
