A really good & tidy place, food is top quality, service is excellent. Can't praise the place enough. 10 out of 10.
Absaloulty a great place to eat home cooked food me and mum travel from Chorley lancs to eat here we always have table ten we book on the way up ,the roast beef dinner is lovely and the gravy is to die for but don’t just take my word try yourself
The staffs are very nice and helpful👍.
The baked haddock fish and prawns with mashed potato and cheese is tasty and delicious 🤤. It's exterior is very fragrant when you put a little bit in your mouth can taste very creamy and rich cheese with al dente prawns and sweet fish inside.
It's amazing 😋👍
Had a lovely lunch here the other day. Well portioned toasted wrap with peppers en chicken. Good flavours well balanced. Good fresh chips as well. Nice service. It was busy but that didn't keep me from enjoying my meal.Would definitly recommend!
Friendly staff, very clean and welcoming establishment. The food was lovely and very well priced too! Will definitely call again when I'm in the area.
Lovely big breakfast. Friendly & welcoming staff. Dog friendly inside so great for us. Highly recommend. Old favourites on the menu. Plenty parking in the town. 👍🏻
This was a lovely cafe to dine in at with my family, having an old cottage style that includes decorations on the walls! I enjoyed a Haddock and Prawn dish with leak, carrots and peas, situated comfortably at a table after we were seen to one upon entry. A drink of Spiced Rum with Coke helped refresh me and the staff were friendly, also cleanliness had been maintained!
Beautiful food. Gluten free menu is wonderful.
Great little restaurant offering large variety of dishes. We chose roast (lamb & beef)...well cooked & brilliant value (<£26 for both of us)
If you go to Skipton pop in you won't be disappointed..highly recommended 👌
Past this cafe many times but went in today and what a lovely surprise. Loads of gluten free meals to choose from which was a refreshing change. The food was hot, tasty and the service was brilliant. Worth a visit and value for money, we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.
I have walked past Dale's Cottage & cafe a number of times when we were in Skipton, and I have wondered what it was like inside as the numerous boards outside with all the different menu options intrigued me.
Well, this Monday we went inside for lunch and were not disappointed.
The place was very busy, but there was very little waiting for service.
The menu was very comprehensive with a lot of choice and the food looked very appetising.
The food we had was very nice and with generous portions. The coffee was good too.
The service was good and the prices are competitive.
Lived in the area for over ten years, never visited y Dales Cottage, went with my wife, sister, and brother in law, waited 15 minutes for a table, well worth the wait, giant Yorkshire filled with roast minted lamb, three veg separate, as wouldn't have fit in the Yorkie !, puds were lovely too ! We all had different options, couldn't fault them, delicious. Won't be waiting another ten years to visit again, that's for sure 😊.
