A lovely roadside hostelry, with good parking, a great welcome and a great atmosphere. We went with friends on a weekday lunchtime and it was very busy, which in itself is a recommendation. The food was quickly served, well-presented, and tasted wonderful. I’d fully recommend a visit. We will certainly be going again.

Really nice spot for dinner. Charge extra for a Yorkshire pudding with your Sunday roast which doesn't sit well with me. Food quality is good, staff friendly. Only a handful of vege options for the Mrs but she really liked the lentil pie.
Went again with the old man for lunch, not really one for salads but highly rated the crispy beef salad.
Sitting outside in May was a treat.

Food preparation was nice but very little vegetarian options. The waitresses kept loosing us but we're making up for it with descent tasting food. Seating spaces were quite stuffy so you can ask to open the windows if weather allows.

Food excellent. Good choice on menu & very well cooked & presented. Service was also very good & the place has a lovely feel with a great choice of cask ales too. A most pleasant evening out & will definitely return to enjoy again.

Great service from the moment of walking in to walking out, food is excellent value for money high quality food and it's served rather quickly, staff came round to check on how your meal is and if you'd like any more drinks or condiments... Highly recommend and il be sure to go back there if I'm back in the area.

My Son took us here for Mother's day , lovely traditional pub , great food, polite staff , great service.
Historical building with stone walls and a real fireplace, very cosy.
There's a nice walk to be taken through the surrounding parkland after dinner if it takes your mind to do so .
My son and his family go quite often and I would definitely go again, recommended 👌

Had lovely Sunday lunch with friends ...good beer.
Recommend the pork Sunday roast.
My friend was but jealous of my meal and bit disappointed with the pie. Lovely helpful staff. My wife was absolutely delighted with range of gluten free choices.

Probably the best bistro pub in Skipton dales area now. Excellent online booking, service and food is excellent. We had rabbit fritters and the fish cakes, sausages and steak and ale pie. All excellent! Thanks

First time for many years, excellent all round. Staff are friendly and attentive looking after you. Lovely atmosphere with low general chatting allowing our table to talk normally over excellent food. Good extensive menu, good selection of wines, gins and whisky at reasonable prices. Definitely another visit from our party.
