Wonderful Sunday lunch. Fantastic service, great ales and awesome roast dinner! Will definitely be heading back soon.
Positives: Fabulous old pub, lovely surroundings. Delicious meal and good range of drinks. Super lady seating us was extra helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our visit. Lovely place. Dog friendly too.
Negatives: Food a little pricey. Loo door had no lock and loose wonky moving seat.
We will definitely return, we may even manage a pud next time 🤞
Just called on the way back from Skipton for a drink but already planning to return for a meal this weekend. The weather was hot so we went to the rear garden. Plenty of parking and the scenery is amazing. The company I was in suddenly exclaimed, "Look at those prawns! We've got to come back." 😂
Came here for some drinks and food on our holidays. Such a lovely little pub! Menu was great. Lots of gluten free and dairy free options - all labelled! We shared lots of starters. Staff were also very polite and welcoming. Thank you!
Great Yorkshire pub. Worth every penny for our evening dinner we highly recommend
Last minute booking but no problems getting a table for 2 plus a dog. Plenty of choice on the menu, the burger and the fish pie were excellent. Good selection of beers including local ales. Very nice surroundings. Will definitely return 😎
Really enjoyed our tea here , was recommended by the landrover guys up the hill.
Perfect cooked fillet, with tasty sides ,the scallops were incredibly good.
Fully recommend
Really nice traditional pub with ample parking handy for Skipton and surrounding areas. The menu changes regularly and the food was excellent, with prawns, pate scallops pies, mussels and burgers all going down a treat, and good value too. They also had a nice selection of ales on.
Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. We left full and happy
Didn't actually eat - but the food being served around us looked and smelt wonderful. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Great location. Fantastic food (the mussels being a particular favourite). It's a popular spot and it's easy to see why. Very dog friendly both inside and out, with a big jar of doggie treats for your 4-legged friends.
