Words cannot describe how good this place is. We decided to have our wedding reception here it is that good. All our guests were very impressed and the staff were such a delight. The food is spot on and there is plenty of it!

Great place - good atmosphere - we are regulars. A good menu choice and very good fast service.
Would heartily recommend it - but book as it can get busy.
My partner and I ate here twice on a very recent trip to Skipton (august bank holiday weeekend 2023)
Both times the staff were amazingly attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
The service was quick, the food was hot and delicious (beef taco’s were epic)
They also cater excellently for gluten free and are very aware of cross contamination so for me that was a relief.
Can’t recommend the place enough just a shame we live too far away to rush back!
They remind you of what good food and good customer service should be!

After a long day of hiking, Calico Jack restaurant & bar was the best place to stop by.
Inside of the restaurant is pretty cool,it felt like we were on the ship, customer service on point. The black pearl burger was amazing, and chips were salty and crunchy! Definitely worth a visit! :)

For a starter, I ordered tacos for 2. It's very tasty.
For the main, i ordered the steak fajitas and was asked how I liked my steak cooking - rare, please. When it arrived, it was not rare. The presentation was really good. Unfortunately, the 3 tiny wraps were far too small for the size of the meal, a real letdown. I ordered an extra 4 but still had loads left. My partner ordered the BBQ Pull Pork. The serving is great, but enough wraps. It was a bit disappointing that there was no real ale today, but there were 4 lagers, an ipa, and 1 cider on tap. The decor based on a pirate ship was nice and nice choice of music. Parking is available outside in the pay and display across the road.
An unusually good dining experience for me as I have an intolerance to any products from cows which many restaurants have difficulty accommodating. After an initial discussion with our server, the chef/owner came to our table to discuss options. What he produced as a result was outstanding. The service provided, the food and the ambience were excellent making a drop-in meal at a previously unknown restaurant a special experience. Highly recommended!

Everything about this restaurant is excellent. The food, staff and the cocktails. We asked for off the menu cocktail drink and they were happy to get us one. The burger was amazing.
Birthday meal with bestie and family and Axel the dog. This was a restaurant for all ages. The various dishes available suited everyone and they were all delicious and fresh. Drinks were cold and incredible with a choice for all again. Dogs are welcome and our big wolf hound had an incredible welcome and was even treated to steak by another diner who had plenty left over. Made my birthday coming here and look forward to visiting again when back up in Yorkshire.
Food was lovely but was very slow. The waitresses we're trying their best but there were only 2 of them trying to do everything. From ordering food took a while to come. Was worth the wait but the children were starving by the time their food arrived.
Absolutely lovely food and staff. Highly recommended and the decor is very pirratical which my son loved. Lovely idea to have snakes and ladders on the back of the kids menu. Not local to the area but would come again without hesitation.
Very friendly helpful staff. Food was very good staff gave more portions when asked.
I'm not a big fan of spicy food I let those who are given more compliments on the food.
But this is definitely place you want to visit.
