One of the friendliest and most welcoming golf clubs I’ve visited.
The course is surrounded by spectacular views.
Every hole is different and the holes over and around the river are challenging and memorable.
Club house serves good wholesome food at reasonable price.

Warm welcome from the pro and catering staff. A good breakfast to start with, but come on, where were the beans😅 . Very reasonable green fees.
The course was in excellent condition considering the amount of rain in recent days. Great views of the surrounding countryside taken in on a well set out course that I would highly recommend.

I visited recently from the Midlands as a member of the 1893 clubs, as my wife was doing a charity walk across the Yorkshire Dales. The course was in great condition with some great feature holes with stunning backdrops. The Pro Peter, who I had contacted the week before, made sure I was well looked after and that members were on hand to go out with me, as I was on my own. It just so happened that it was Pro's day and although it was very busy, I was able to play the course and access the 10th hole refreshments which was most welcome. I would also like to thanks the two gents who took the time to go round with me. !!

A fabulous welcome from Peter the professional. 4 blokes on a day out golfing drinking and eating. He was just the nicest bloke you could possibly meet as visitors to the club. The course was fantastic too in nice. In breezless sunshine. Natasha behind the bar was lovely too, full of life and fun. The the food though needs a menu refresh - it sounds a lot nicer than the reality - but that didn’t put us off at all. Top club, top staff and just the best pro going.
