The village of Slaidburn is in a beautiful and peaceful part of Lancashire. The Hark to Bounty sits in the heart of the village and has a long history of importance here. We stayed one night and this was a real treat. The building has plenty of features including wooden beams and eclectic dispays
Called in for a pint but were tempted by the menu. We both settled for the Lattice Lancashire pie.... Leek, potato and cheese with salad. It was delicious and the portion size was huge 😋. The beer was great as well. I tried the gluten free, which tasted great. It was nice to see the place bustling
Great staff, very helpful and have gluten free beer too. Didn't eat just had some very pleasant beers.
Wonderful pub, full of character, and hasn't been modernised to death. Lovely pint of Lancaster Blonde and superb homemade food...Steak and Ale Pie is just delicious ! A regular stop when we're in Bowland.

Arriving alone after a long day cycling I popped in here while waiting for the youth hostel over the road to open. Little did I know just how much this place would go to my heart. Lovely pub, just as a pub should be. Very old and quaint. Beer was perfect and the food - wow. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely visit here again next time we are in the area.

Called in here last Monday after checking reviews, we were on route to the Ingleton area for the week having travelled up from the Midlands. A tad expensive 17 quid for 3 pints. But they were perfect. Very clean but dated loos and from 50.00 bnb Barmaid was lovely
Following a walk in the area we went for a meal. We had not booked in advance, but we're advised that it was better to book for Sunday. Nevertheless we were accommodated. Lovely homemade soup followed by Lancashire Lattice Pie with Salad.
Lovely pub in a small village. Great food, drinks and personel. We almost missed the place, because it is hidden in a lovely village. Don't be like us, go there! 10/10 travellers would remocemend.

Lovely younger lady great at her job as a bar maid!!! Gluten free draft ale. Other great ales too. And fantastic food. Get the steak & ale pie!! Yum!!!!! Love this pub :)
