Staying in Snettisham for a few days, thought we would pop along to the Queen Victoria for a light lunch. Was greeted warmly and menus provided swiftly. I choose the Q.V. fish pie, while my hubby had the fish platter. I can honestly say it was one of the best fish pies I have ever eaten. Every mouthful was a piece of succulent fish or seafood. Accompanied by fresh green veg. Delicious. The fish platter had five different fish and seafood, with dips fries and salad. Again delicious. The Queen Victoria is a plain old fashioned pub but the food it top quality. Can definitely recommend. Post script; our two little doggies were made very welcomed too.

I have visited here a few times before and last week I went here for a wake after a funeral. They laid on an amazing buffet with top quality food and so much selection, all fresh and full of flavours! Everyone was really impressed with the quantity, as well as the range of food provided, which included 6 sandwich fillings, sausage rolls, pork pies, potato salad, coleslaw, quiche, salad, profiteroles, cheesecake, chocolate cake, jam and cream fruit scones, and various pastries! Unlimited tea and coffee was also available. I have also had meals here in the past, and each one has not disappointed. Everything is home cooked and the portion sizes are huge! Well worth the money. Staff are attentive, they have no issue with you swapping things on your plate and got all our orders correct. Food served quickly and very hot. Nice cosy little pub with friendly atmosphere. Gutted that I didnt get to try the sunday carvery, they are very popular and busy on sundays so worth booking to avoid disappointment. A hidden gem, and I hope to visit again soon (hopefully for the carvery) Please see my photos for pictures of food.

Popped in on the off chance for some lunch and was blown away. Lots of parking round the back, big beer garden although it was a bit chilly to sit out, friendly helpful staff who got us a table sorted and great food. And fantastic value. We had two starters and two Sunday roasts, beef and chicken, perfectly cooked and lots of freshly cooked veg and gravy in a jug. Couldn’t ask for any more. With two large wine and a lager, came to £53. Looking forward to visiting again for Pie night on Wednesday.

Stopped off for lunch while on a cycle ride. Lovely building big beer garden. The bar man was friendly and welcoming. Food was nice we both had a baguette. Our server was very polite and asked us if everything was ok with our lunch. Would definitely eat here again if we were in the area.

Never been here before, called in on a drive out for some food and a drink, unfortunately they had stopped serving food at 8pm so we had just missed out. Room for a couple of dozen cars to park and additional out on the road if necessary. About half a dozen picnic benches with big umbrellas in the beer garden out front, and could see a larger one out back but don't know how big. The bar itself is quite small but you can get in to get served, 2 lovely ladies serving. They were busy with lots of locals by the sounds of it, so was pleasing to see. Three or 4 table and chairs in the main bar, about 8 in the side set up for food to be served then overflow. Stopped there until 11pm and sat out front, had a few drinks each, fair selection to choose from, reasonably priced. The toilets were easy enough to find and get to, I didn't use them but there were no complaints from my partner, so they were clean and tidy. A bit too noisy inside for me, but everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves, so it was nice to see, and it was a lovely night so more than happy to sit outside. All in all seemed like a nice place, a bit out of the way for us about 40 minutes drive, but would happily go again and try the food as it smelled good!

Lovely pub, we've been a few times for lunch when visiting family in Snettisham and it's always good pub food, nothing fancy, but that's not what we want, just a tasty meal. Always decent sized portions at a good price. The staff member who has served us every time we've been is always very friendly, so thank you to her.
