Wonderful service, beautiful presentation and good wine! A feel of nostalgia with the antique tables and chairs... and they are happy to swap your chair if you want the more cushioned version as requested by my son!
Consistently excellent: my Go-To for a Family Treat, Date Night or Self-Love!
Great pub, excellent staff, good food and great place for an event, wedding, just to chill
Friends and I stayed at the apartment above the red lion recently and ventured downstairs for an evening. (Apartment was great but unconnected to the pub). The service, food and overall experience was excellent. It was a surprise as this place was a hidden gem which we found without recommendation
We held an reception in The Red Lion's beautiful coach house and Lucy, Donna and the team were absolutely fantastic! Every guest said how amazing the food was and staff and they helped make our day truly magical! We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this fantastic venue.
Have just enjoyed yet another superb meal and wine supported by excellent service at this superb restaurant. I cannot recommend it too highly.

Truly delicious food cooked to perfection. A very friendly service and very reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit if you like good food.
Dog friendly, lovely staff. In the winter there is an open fire. Staff are knowledgeable and eager to help. Excellent selection of gins.
Booked for lunch for Sunday, the food was fabulous, the staff very professional and attentive, overall a very good experience, could do with some background music.
Delicious Sunday lunch here. Our party of 6 had between us, roast beef, pork, venison a chickpea stew and Mac n cheese. All delicious. Lovely pub, friendly service. Would visit again. Just been back for a big family birthday lunch. Cannot fault the place, amazing.
Really lovely food and friendly service. I would come again

Great to see a local pub restaurant take such care of customers, and serve fantastic food to boot. Menu was wide ranging, with choices to suit everyone. All three courses were delicious. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes!
I have nothing but lovely things to say about the Red Lion. What a beautiful addition to Soham and the surrounding area. A proper country pub, gorgeous inside and out, and the food is outstanding. Even I, a difficult vegan, was accommodated for with a superb starter and main. In particular the wild

Two of us don't drink and they supplied us with a very nice non-alcoholic prosecco, the wine list for the drinkers was very good. We had a really lovely evening and couldn't fault a thin
We went for a Sunday lunch family celebration. Couldn't fault a thing. Food was lovely, fresh and full of flavour. Staff were very accommodating as one of our party were gluten free. Great choices of wines on the menu . Just wish I ordered the roast potatoes!.......they looked delicious. Highly re
