The restoration of the Red Lion is only matched by the service and lovely food provided. The wine menu is comprehensive, and whilst the menu isn’t huge the meals we had were of the highest quality. Well done to all involved.
Everything is perfect. The building is amazing, the staff very friendly and the food was really good. Such a lovely afternoon spent there. The house red wine is one if the best reds we have drunk for a long time. Very reasonably priced too Thanks to all the team.

The staff answered all of our questions about the me u without hesitation or needing to ask the kitchen, my drink looked and tasted brilliant and the toilets were clean and tidy!
The food, now that was om another level. The portions were perfect and not too filling. The flavours were a sensation and the menu options were great.
The environment was spacious and welcoming.

Friends and I stayed at the apartment above the red lion recently and ventured downstairs for an evening. (Apartment was great but unconnected to the pub).
The service, food and overall experience was excellent. It was a surprise as this place was a hidden gem which we found without recommendation and pure coincidence.
I could not speak highly enough of the staff, and though I do not live nearby, will be sure to visit if I am in the area.
We held an reception in The Red Lion's beautiful coach house and Lucy, Donna and the team were absolutely fantastic!
Every guest said how amazing the food was and staff and they helped make our day truly magical!

No stars for the food here as attended my daughter's birthday and our niece provided everything. Aside from that what a hidden gem in Soham, lovely olde world pub little nokks and crannies, good selections of wines, beers and gins. Great service, friendly, what more could I have asked for. My daughter thoroughly her evening ✨

Dog friendly, lovely staff. In the winter there is an open fire. Staff are knowledgeable and eager to help. Excellent selection of gins.
