Always had great service when coming here. Staff are friendly and helpful.. busy evening with 40% off and food came out quick and hot! Definitely recommend. Lovely refurb too!

I honestly can not fault this place, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the staff. Just fab, always enjoy coming here! Paula and the team are always so friendly even when they are rushed off their feet!

Food was good but ordered a surf and turf and received no surf. Asked for my steak to be rare but was well done instead. Unable to complain without waiting 10 minutes in a queue. No staff came to check how the meal was. That said food was good just not to specification. Atmosphere was nice. Lovely pub. Just teething problems I assume.

Live locally so walked to the Tavern, as I've heard parking can be an issue.
Had a great lunch. Food was good, hot and well presented. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Love the renovations, light , airy and up to date. Outside area looked fantastic. So pleased for my local pub, will visit more often as I couldn't fault it. 👏

After the referb it is lovely inside. It was really busy as they do a lunchtime menu. The people I was with had lovely burgers & chips. The menu stated all burgers came with salad, brioche bun and chips. I had the vegetarian burger & for £9.99, I had the smallest saddest burger with a limp salad - well lettuce and 1/4 tomato - No chips. Everyone else's food looked lovely.... I really wouldn't recommend the vegetarian burger, in my opinion it isn't value for money. The waitresses were busy & I couldn't catch one to talk to.

We visited for Sunday Lunch and was very happy. Dawn and the Team were really attentive and it was definitely service with a smile. When the food arrived it was hot - a good start and very tasty. We had the chicken wing starter along with a nachos sharer ☑️ Followed by the Sunday roast and posh fish and chips ☑️ Lots of empty plates and not a lot of room for dessert although some did share a waffles and the Eton mess. We will certainly go again.

Recently refurbished so nice and clean. Good atmosphere as lots of people were visiting due to the reopening. However the wait on food was long (30+ minutes) for lunch. Would visit again but maybe more for drinks and nibbles. Nice to see that the bar area is dog friendly.

The refurbishment is fantastic. Very modern and current. The new seating is soooo much better and there seems to be more available. The ladies toilets are very clean, modern and well maintained.
The staff are still fantastic and a credit to the Olton Tavern.
Quiz night on a Sunday and Thursday is great fun.

I came yesterday with family. The food was gorgeous in itself hot and we was more than happy. The staff themselves were friendly, warm and welcoming.
I hate to moan someone came in with a dog and she picked it up and sat it on a stool at the side of the bar. Other than that cracking couple of hours. Thank you 😁
