This was probably the worse afternoon tea experience I've had in Solihull/Birmingham. The staff for the tea room looked like they did not want to be here and the food itself was way below par, it's no wonder Laura Ashley is no longer associated with this place. The staff had us waiting a while to be seated even though there was only one table with people in the tea room. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Would highly recommend avoiding this place definitely not worth the money. A better alternative would be afternoon tea at The Hogarth Hotel in Solihull.

Absolutely pleasant experience and warm welcome. Not sure why we had to reserve table in advance as we were the only people there with ample of spare tables. Nonetheless the ambience was lovely and afternoon tea was nice but expensive for what was presented to us. The mushy peas and mint which was complimentary was delicious, the scones with strawberry jam and cream was gorgeous as was the selective sandwiches including the pot of dejiing tea. Staff are so friendly. I would recommend Laura Ashley afternoon tea for the experience.

Probably the best afternoon tea in town. They got the best selections of tea with various treats and sweets in one tray. The room is beautifully decorated to give off a vintage and Victorian atmosphere. The staffs were friendly and professional. It was super affordable for such a large portion for one person. It was a great place for me to read a book and hangout alone because it is situated inside a hotel where I was staying. Truly a great high tea experience for a foreigner!

Small but lovely tea room, although there were more tables in the garden view room which I believe can be used for functions such as baby showers etc... £20 pp for afternoon tea, but this included refillable sandwiches and scones and unlimited tea. I was very impressed with this service. Also before the afternoon tea came out we had a small cup of tomato and basil soup which was really nice. The photo I've included is of my gluten free afternoon tea, which came on a separate stand and the waitress went through and told us what each cake and sandwich was on each stand. We also had 4 ham sandwiches for my 1yo nephew and extra plain ham sandwiches for my sil's Mum. It was a lovely afternoon and I would definitely go back.

Beautiful tea room, tables were all set out lovely. Food was lovely and cooked fresh. The waitress was friendly however, she did collect some of our plates when other members of our party were still eating.

Well what can I say. We weren't met by anyone so had find our own way to the tea room The service was super slow . I think I aged about 5 years waiting ... which was about the same age of the walnut and coffee cake .
The sandwiches 1st the egg mayo filled by Mr Ebenezer Scrooge himself who didnt show it much egg at all.
2nd the cheese and pickle was the best of the bunch . Tuna cucumber was nothing to write home about either. Overall a poor experience.

Nicely decorated tea room with a relaxed atmosphere. Nice scones and cakes, coffee ok. Helpful staff. Don't forget to register car at reception due to parking cameras.
