Always get well looked after by the staff at this venue. The food is good and the welcome warm. We go regularly and have a meeting room booked, the staff are friendly and helpful, pricing is very reasonable and the pub is comfortable. It's a great venue to work and relax in. Thanks everyone for looking after us so well :)

Fist time visiting the red lion.. I enjoyed some lovely pale ale from the bar and I had hunters chicken for my meal, it was very tasty. The staff were friendly and service was excellent.

James was great looked after us well, event though we were severely delayed due to traffic. Food was great and decent value, priced about right I'd say. Using the meerkat discount was definitely a bonus!

This is a well run pub, bar staff and customers friendly, popular on quizz and entertainment evenings. Good atmosphere and decor.

Lovely food and fast service, we all ordered steaks and one was slightly undercooked. Issue was politely and professionally handled by staff with much apologies. All sides were cooked fresh and steak returned quickly cooked perfectly! Setting is well decorated and was quiet and fast despite a large party going on upstairs. Prices not too expensive! Thanks very much!

Visited on a Sunday during the "lunch rush" didn't have a booking but Jim went above and beyond to find a table for me the wife and our dogs. Beer was good, food was of the utmost quality and Jim while busy always had a smile on his face.

Lovely place, benefiting from friendly and efficient staff being employed. Competitively priced food & drink, in line with what are normally charged at all Ember Inns. The only minor irritant is the availability of car-parking, that sometimes can prove difficult. Otherwise a highly recommended hostelry.
